I have been working on several blog posts that I have already started on or even completed. Unfortunately, have had some technical difficulties on my laptop where all the photos are stored. So instead I spent my evening enjoying a glass of wine and watching my new Adele DVD. This DVD/CD set was an early Christmas gift to myself. There is some adult language so perhaps sending the children to another room is best. She is an amazing artist, her voice and style are eccentric. Too bad my grandfather isn't around to enjoy. Her music brings back childhood memories of my grandfather listening to blues or jazz music.
I couldn't resist, it was on sale for only $13.99 at Target. Originally $19.99. This is a great DVD to put on when hosting a party or gathering around with friends and family this holiday season.
I chose an Artisan bread from the bakery and paired it with a dip which I made simply by mixing some Italian spices in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I then made Italian sausage pinwheels. Pillsbury dough (seamless) rolled out, cooked Italian Sausage (I chose spicy), added cream cheese, shredded cheese and topped it off with green onions, chives. Roll it up and bake at 375 degrees until golden brown. Cut into slices and serve. An evening of music, food and wine is always a nice way to end a busy day!

Looks delish! I'm going to have to try this out!
It's super easy and you can substitute the plain cream cheese with garden vegetable or chive and onion flavored.
